Rachel is awesome! I am a first time mom who had no idea that breastfeeding would be so challenging. Rachel helped build my confidence with nursing and gave me the reassurance I needed in those early postpartum days. Rachel is full of knowledge and I would highly recommend her to anyone considering breastfeeding counselling or hiring a doula. I know I will definitely be contacting her if we have another baby!

5 stars  Rachel came to my home to help me breastfeed my premature son. He had some health problems at this time and she was very helpful, she put me at ease and gave me great information! I would highly recommend her.

My Spouse and I had to opportunity to take Rachel’s breastfeeding class and receive post partum care from her also. We felt that we knew enough about breastfeeding before the class, but little did we know, we didn’t. She gave us more insight, tips, tricks and facts than I could have ever imagined. When I began breastfeeding, everything she had taught us, came into play right away. Shortly into my breastfeeding journey, I started to struggle. I had been in contact with Rachel after the baby but a couple days in, we called Rachel, she immediately cleared her schedule, and came over to spend the afternoon with me. (I was not even a client! That’s the kind of person she is). For the first time since breastfeeding, I felt comfortable and confident. Upon examining my son and helping us feed, Rachel pointed out that my son had a tongue tie. Rachel gave me all the information on where to get this fixed, and provided me with tips and tricks to continue breastfeeding until the tongue tie was fixed. I would have given up on breastfeeding days after having the baby if it was not for Rachel. Rachel’s suggestions, the way she talks and presents herself and the way she cares for you and your family is comforting and humbling. I will be using Mother Nurture Doulas in the future for both pre and post partum care for myself and my family! And you should too! Thank you Mother Nurture Doulas!
